The Settings Dialog Box

To open the Settings dialog box, select the Settings option available in the Tools menu.

The Click2Map editor settings allow you to:

  • Display or hide the Quick Add Marker dialog box when adding markers in quick mode,
  • Select a date format,
  • Define the zoom level and the default center for all new maps. To set the desired center, drag the map to the desired location, input its geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude), or enter a street address and click on the Geocode button.

Options

  • Quick Add Input Dialog: Check this option if you wish to automatically display the Quick Add Marker whenever you add a new marker while in Quick Add mode.
  • Date Format: Select you preferred local date format in this drop-down list.

New Map Default Values

  • Latitude: Use these fields to manually enter your map desired central latitude coordinate if you know it. The adequate values automatically appear when you drag the map in the map display area.
  • Longitude: Use these fields to manually enter your map desired central longitude coordinate if you know it. The adequate values automatically appear when you drag the map in the map display area.
  • Zoom Level: Use this slider to define the default zoom level that should be used for your maps.
  • Map Center Address: You can enter a street address here and use it at your map's center coordinates. To center the map on this address, click on the Geocode button.
  • Geocode: Click on this button to automatically convert the Map Center Address into the corresponding geographical coordinates.
