This section lets you select which components of the Google Maps interface should be available to your visitors.
Scale: Check this option to make the scale visible at the bottom of the map.
Overview: Check this option to make the mini-map visible at the bottom of the map.
Map Type: Check this option to make the map type selection buttons available to your visitors. These buttons allow them to switch between the available map types: Map, Satellite and Hybrid.
Zoom Control: Select an option in the Zoom control list box to define how much control your visitors should have on the map magnification.
None: Select this option if you don't want any Zoom in or Zoom out buttons to be displayed on your map.
Zoom only: Select this option if you want the Zoom in and Zoom out buttons to be displayed on your map.
Small: Select this option to display both the Zoom in and Zoom out buttons as well as the Up, Down, Left and Right buttons on your map.
Large: Select this option to display the full set of controls on your map: Zoom in, Zoom out, Up, Down, Left and Right buttons as well as the Zoom Slider.
Enable Map Dragging: Check this option to give your visitors the possibility to use their mouse to drag the map in any direction to change the visible area. Unchecking it disables the mouse dragging system. If you wish to completely prevent your visitors from changing the central point of your map, make sure to also select the None or Zoom Only option in the Zoom Control section.
Enable Double Click Zoom: Check this option to allow your visitors to zoom in on the map by double clicking their left mouse button. Unchecking it disables the mouse zooming system.
Enable Continuous Zoom: Check this option to turn on transition effects during zoom in/out operations. When this option is disabled, zooming in/out on the map immediately results in displaying the zoomed in/out area: no visual transition is used.
Map Type: Select from this list the type of map that should be presented to your visitors when they land on its webpage. Three map types are available:
Map: Choose the Map view to display a map with road and geographical information.
Satellite: Choose the Satellite view to display aerial imagery.
Hybrid: Choose the Hybrid view to display aerial imagery and road information.
Display Marker List: Check this option to display the list of all the markers available in the map you publish. Markers are displayed in the groups they respectively belong to. The marker list can be displayed to the left or to the right of the map area.
Display Marker Description: Check this option if you wish to display a description below each marker title in the marker list. The description used is the one present in the
Decription field of the
Marker dialog box.
Display Marker Window: Check this option to automatically display the Info Window associated to a marker when you click on its name in the Marker List. Unchecking it will simply center the map on the selected maker when your visitors click on its name in the list.
Width: Enter here the desired width, in pixels, for the map widget.
Height: Enter here the desired height, in pixels, for the map widget.
Enable Clusters: Check this option if you want marker clustering to be active on the published map. See also: the
Cluster dialog box.
Display Footer Bar: By default, a footer bar is placed below each map you publish. This footer includes a link to the Click2Map website and your Click2Map username. It also displays an
RSS button that allows your visitors to subscribe to your map's
RSS feed and receive notifications whenever you publish updated contents.
