The Map Dialog Box

The New Map dialog box used to create a new map and the Edit Map dialog box used to modify an existing map are identical, only their titles differ.

The Map is the basic container for Click2Map markers, drawings and groups: to start creating new markers, drawings and groups of markers, you first need to create a map or select an existing map. To create a new map, use the New > Map… command from the main menu: this opens the New Map dialog box in which you can define your map's parameters.

Default Marker Properties

Click2Map markers can hold a lot of information, texts, images, etc. that can be accessed by left-clicking on a marker's icon on the map. The Info Window being rather small, it's always a good idea to organize you information so that it fits in the allocated space: to do so, you can create multiple tabs and use them to classify information.

The Default Marker Properties options tab lets you define the information tabs, icon properties and template that will be used for all new markers in this map.
