The My Database dialog box

Click2Map includes a powerful database engine that you can use to generate multiple markers that share common properties. For example, if you wanted to create a map of all the hotels in California, it would be a good idea to think about the criteria all hotels may be judged after: do they offer air conditioning, is there a swiming pool, an internet connection, etc.

The My Database dialog box is where you can define the structure of your database. Your personal Click2Map database is built around two main concepts: you can organize information into Data Fields within Data Categories. For example, the “Hotel” data category could contain mutilple data fields such as “Rooms”, “Swimming pool”, “Internet access”, etc.
