How to Apply a Template when Importing Markers

Applying a template when you import markers is a very easy operation: you just need to specify the name of the marker template that should be applied to each marker. This can be done by adding a Template column to the import file that already contains all your markers.

Before you proceed with this tutorial, please make sure that you've followed these steps:

1. Create a marker template named Real Estate (Step 1 of the How to Create a Marker from a Template tutorial).
2. If you would like your markers to include a photo tab with a legend dynamically generated from the markers' Title and Group name, also follow the instructions in the How to Use Variables in a Template tutorial.

When you open this file, you'll see how easy it is to specify which template should be used with each marker: you only need to add a Template column to an import file. In this case, all markers will be created in a group named San Diego and will include all the properties defined in he Real Estate template created earlier.
